Bilingual Outreach Case Manager position open at Community Affairs and Resource Center in Asbury Park.

 Case Manager will serve as the primary point of contact coordinating necessary services for individuals and families.

Coordinate and participate in community outreach events.

Ensure that case files are properly maintained and that accurate and complete information is entered into the Coordinated Assistance Network (CAN) to minimize duplication of benefits and services. Compile and prepare statistical reports, maintain and compile data regarding case management activities.

 Conduct client interviews to identify and assess disaster-related recovery needs through home visits to assess homeowners' needs. Collect and verify any and all documentation necessary to prove ownership, income, assets, and expenses

 Work collaboratively with clients to develop, implement and monitor recovery plans that comprehensively address outstanding and unresolved disaster related needs.

Empower clients to access available resources and advocate on their behalf.

Other duties as assigned by the Program Director and the Executive Director

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or at least 3 years equivalent experience in social services or disaster relief and recovery.

Must have a strong desire to assist families

Flexible and willing to adapt to ever changing circumstances.

Knowledge of available disaster recovery resources strongly preferred.

Self-starter with ability to work independently and manage and prioritize multiple projects.

May be required to work some night and weekend hours.

Valid drivers' license and reliable transportation

Bilingual – English/Spanish

Shalom Torah Academy located at 639 Abbington Drive in East Windsor NJ is looking for a part time general studies teacher for Science and Math. Shalom is a Jewish Day school serving students from divers Jewish backgrounds Preschool through Grade 8.
