Chapters & Clubs
Georgian Court University graduates who organize and participate in Alumni Association activities contribute immeasurably to the influence of Georgian Court University upon its thousands of former students. Alumni chapters and clubs are formed for the purpose of uniting alumni who reside within specific geographical areas or who share common interests.
Our various chapters and clubs function as active, viable branches of our Alumni Association and serve as official ambassadors of the university. An important objective of an alumni group is encouragement of good will and public acceptance of GCU. This is accomplished through publicity about the university, our alumni, and their contributions to their communities.
Chapters
Chapters are established based upon geographic boundaries. Alumni may choose to become a member of a local chapter representing a county/area of residence. Some alumni members may choose to be a member in another county/area that is more convenient or more in keeping with their interests.
Clubs
Clubs are based upon special interest, such as Evening Division, Graduate School, Non-traditional students, Athletic Interest Groups, or Academic Departments. Members of these clubs are encouraged to actively participate in a local chapter as well.
