Research shows that yoga is effective in lowering blood pressure, improving insulin sensitivity, balancing immune system responses, improving sleep quality, lessening depression, and anxiety, and managing stress in addition to improving overall strength, flexibility, and bone density. Many people are turning to yoga as a way to address the challenges of the current situation. Whether you are an experienced yogi or you have never practiced yoga in your life, join us for a gentle flowing yoga practice that can be enjoyed by any level. Suggestions will be offered to modify and support your practice so you can do what best meets your needs. It is suggested that you have either a yoga mat or a large beach towel, two rolled up towels to use for support, and a small blanket.
