Back by popular demand, an authentic Japanese tea ceremony will be experienced with expert Judith Krall-Russo. Tour GCU’s historic Japanese Garden, completed in 1910 by Takeo Shiota, and its tea house with Michael Gross, Ph.D., associate provost and arboretum director, and enjoy a cultural presentation by Sachiko Komagata, Ph.D., chair and associate professor of integrative health and exercise science. Guests will check in at the Mansion and then be divided into three groups. There is approximately one- fifth of a mile of walking between the Mansion and Japanese Garden, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Light refreshments are included. Limited seats, register early!
