“Looking To The Future”
Transition & Career Studies Endowed Scholarship
Transition & Career Studies (TCS) at Georgian Court University is a four-year transition and postsecondary inclusive college-based program for students with intellectual disabilities. TCS is a residential program with a strong career-development focus, embedded in our private, Catholic, liberal arts university. The program is grounded in Georgian Court University’s Mercy core values of respect, integrity, justice, compassion, and service. Through TCS, students will enhance their academic skills, identify career goals, achieve independence, increase social skills, practice self-advocacy, assess their own needs, and pursue self-enrichment.
In order to provide this opportunity to every student that seeks a college education, a newly endowed scholarship has been established. The “Looking To The Future” Transition & Career Studies Endowed Scholarship was created through a generous gift from Dr. Ralph Spohn and his daughter, Amy Watts. Their contribution provided the university with the ability to endow this scholarship. Through continued support from the community, it is our hope to award this vital scholarship to students as soon as possible.
Your gift will directly support the efforts to award this scholarship. Please consider giving to this critical program and aiding the efforts to provide a deserving student with the financial assistance they need.
A college education is for everyone. With your help we can make this possible.
